The Pelonis® portable air conditioner works with both hung and sliding windows. Models manufactured before 2017 were tested under the ASHRAE standard that listed a higher cooling capacity output. While the SACC BTU rating is listed lower than the previous ASHRAE rating, the construction and cooling capacity of the models remain unchanged.
